Solidarity
Water Europe (F), Co-ordination and direction of the project
Solidarity Water Europe was founded in 1998 as an European network
by members of the parliamentary assembly of the Council of Europe and
the International Water Secretariat. Solidarity Water Europe engages itself
for the participation and involvement of citizens in water management,
it promotes the association of the youth via the organisation of the European
Parliaments of the Youth for Water and it commits itself to assure the
access to clean drinking water and sanitation systems for abandoned populations
in Europe.

Naturlandstiftung
Saar (Nature foundation Saar) (D), Lead partner
The Naturlandstiftung Saar is supported by the BUND (Federation for enviorment
and nature protection Germany), the fishers federation of the land Saar,
the NABU (federation for nature protection) and the hunters association
of the Land Saar. The aims of the Naturlandstiftung are the management
of nature protection areas, the realisation of projects in the context
of counter balancing measures, the carrying out of nature protection projects
in the Saarland and in co-operation with French and Luxemburg partners
as well the creation of biotope networks

research, policy analysis and consultancy. An independent, non-partisan

European Rivers
Network (F),
ERN,
the European Rivers Network, is a non profit NGO and was founded 1994
by Roberto A. Epple and is supported by IRN (International Rivers Network),
S.O.S. Loire Vivante, EURONATUR (European Foundation for Natural Heritage),
DUH (Deutsche Umwelthilfe) and many others.
The aim of ERN, is to link groups, organisations and persons working for
the protection of rivers and to improve communication between them. ERN
also links organisations from different working fields such as environment,
culture, education and human rights.
ERN seeks to promote the sustainable wise management of living rivers
in opposition to the exploitation, pollution and degradation that has
occurred in the past.

Fundation
Hellef fir die Natur (L),
The
Fondation Hëllef fir d'nature, was established in 1982 by the initiative
of its three founder unions the " Lëtzebuerger nature and Vulleschuztliga",
the Luxembourg Naturalists Society" and "NATURA" established.
Head responsibilities of the Fondation Hëllef fir d'nature are the
purchase and the support of ecologically valuable land. The Fondation
Hëllef fir d'nature has as an public utility arrangement until, over
720 acres damp meadows, dry lawn, reed zone, ponds could be purchased
with the help of sponsoring and could be places under long term protection.
The Fondation Hëllef fir d'nature is only focused on action to raise
the awareness of the public for the importance to preserve the natural
environment and the contribution of financial donations for the purchase
of land for its preservation. So its national campaigns as well as Schoul
at nature or yet the national day of the tree now organised since years
confess a large popularity.

Out over the boundary of the dukedom, seeks the Fondation Hëllef
fir d'nature always partners for joint projects in the sense of the persistent
nature protection. So it cooperates also at European programs as well
as Life and Interreg.
The Fondation Hëllef fir d'nature can count on the fundamental support
of 13 colleagues. The responsible person for the program Rhine-network
is Mr. Jean-Pierre Schmitz, secretary-general of the Fondation Hëllef
fir d'nature.
Ministry
for environment and transport of the land Baden-Württemberg (D),
The ministry for environment and transport the country Baden-Württemberg
is as an uppermost conservation authority responsible for the conversion
of the EC-water frame Directive (WFD). Goal of the water frame directive
is the accomplishment of a good condition of all waters until end 2015.
Presently the conversion in Germany and Baden-Württemberg is prepared
in different teams for different regions. In a first step, the WFD plans
an extensive assessment until the 22.12.2004. At the same time it concerns
mainly work, that is carried out centrally by the specialty administration
(LfU, RPen, GWDen with the participation of further administration units).
In the frame of this assessment, the ministry is partner of the Rhine
network. In further steps, an extensive monitoring, the achievement of
management plan with measures programs as well as its conversion follows.

The INTERNATIONAL OFFICE FOR WATER (IOW) is a non-profit-making Association
under the French Law of July 1,1901, state approved by Decree on September
13, 1991.

Regiowasser

The
working group "RegioWasser 2005" was founded in 1999 on initiative
on the "working group water" in the "Federal Association
of citizens environmental protection initiatives" and the Badenova
(former FEW).
Is goal is to support engagement in water management professional and
to acquire the bases for the planning of a sustainable water management
in the region Freiburg to the year 2005. The team consists of a semi-annual
working group, which is separated into two working fields.
Team I "ground water":
Busies itself with the question how in long-term approach quantity and
quality of the ground water can be secured in the back land of the Dreisam.
Team II "Dreisam" :

Stichting Reinwater was established 1974 as an environmental protection
organization for the protection of the large river zones in the Netherlands.
First lay the head activities in actions and legal proceedings for the
protection of the waters. After the achievement of the first goals, the
